"Started off great. Stephanie was the one who’d originally helped me and would always keep up with me each time my old policy before State Farm renewed to offer me new rates. Loved State Farm for the first year until the last couple months, so thank you again for being awesome. Towards the end of my policy I came into contact with a lady named Alexis. My rates raised as my car aged which I found confusing, so when asking for lower rates, it was adjusted, but only after I took off rental coverage. The initial warm, welcoming encounters I had with previous agents was gone though as she was stand offish on numerous occasions. I think the idea with insurance (how most companies market it) is to save money, however, I was told when asking for a lower rate that $95 dollars isn’t a big deal, nor was the $25 late fee implying that I couldn’t afford it. Progressive has a grace period whereas State Farm doesn’t so when paychecks came in a couple days late, the $25 late fee was always there. Never missed a payment with progressive because of it. Gaslighting your customers to feel like they can’t afford something just because they want a lower rate from a business standpoint is unprofessional, so I chose to end my policy. My only suggestion would be to train the girl better with the proper social skills when dealing with customers. Again, I have no problem with anybody there and don’t care for whatever response. For anybody else reading this outside of State Farm; Progressive is 56% if you have a clean driving record.😊"
